I once questioned whether the God I was raised to believe in was the true God but how could I know for sure. As we begin to search for God as some do, we begin to learn about world history. World History is very important if you want to learn about God because it was God(s) and religion that made the world the way it is now.
Learning about your specific faith’s history will help you discover the true origin of your faith and should be based on research and not hearsay. The beginning of your faith has a lot to do with why you should believe in it because it is the original reason your belief gained popularity from a convincing fact. I believe in my God based on those reasons, but it all came from my own research and not from word of mouth. I read several books and then did my own scientific studies and then my own historical research and found the truth about my belief.
